Polele Packaging
As an online retailer, we are required to send out many parcels a day to our customer. The use of packaging is an inevitable part of our business. However, as an environmentally-friendly retailer ourselves, at Polele, we whole-heartedly believe in the importance of incorporating eco friendly packaging material and and methods in all our deliveries.
Below is just some of the detailed explanations on how our packaging material is good for the environment:
Boxes – All our boxes are made from recycled paper. In fact, the majority of our boxes is actually reused and recycled, which meant mean that we have actively searched for and bought reused boxes that are made from recycled paper – so please don’t mind if your boxes come stamped with the postmarked address of its previous owners or in a box that was made for another brand! At the same time, we will also reuse boxes and packaging material which we receive in our own deliveries. Please note that all our boxes are also recyclable!
Bubble Wraps – Due to the fragility of our some of our products, unfortunately, they must be protected by some form of protection when they are sent out to you and we are required to use bubble wraps. However, you can be assured that all our bubble wraps can be recycled.
Corrugated Paper Roll – Similar to the bubble wraps, we sometimes have to use corrugated paper rolls to protect your order while being delivered. Our corrugated paper rolls have also been made from recycled paper and are also recyclable.
Packing Chips – The packing chips for your delivery are biodegradable as they have been produced from paper and corn starch. In the case that the packing chips we use for you are not biodegradable, you can feel peace of mind at knowing that they will definitely have been reused from other deliveries we received.
Gift-Wrapping Material – Our gift-wrapping paper are made from recycled paper and the ribbon we used is made from natural jute.
Printed and marketing materials – Most of our printed materials and stationery have been printed on recycled paper. However, in the case that this is not so, we will try to always use paper that have been sourced under responsible forestry management as certified by the Forest Steward Council (FSC) institution.
Reused Newspaper – At times, we may also re-use newspaper material to help protect your order from damage during delivery.
In all our packaging aspects, we will also follow strictly our other principles:
Whenever we can, we aim to avoid the excessive of packaging for your order, but ensure that they are sufficient enough to ensure a high level of protection.
We will always recycle all packaging material we received, where we cannot reuse these.
